About the Artist – Deepti Saxena

Hi, I'm Deepti — an artist, dreamer, and the heart behind Voodaz Studios.

Born in Lucknow, India, with a master’s in statistics, I never imagined that after 18 years in the fast-paced world of marketing, I’d one day choose a canvas over a corporate boardroom. But sometimes, your passion calls louder than your plans — and mine led me straight back to painting.

Art has always been more than a passion for me — it's how I breathe, reflect, and connect. After years of painting quietly for myself and loved ones, I realized I wanted to do more than just create — I wanted to share. And that’s how Voodaz was born — a dream to bring meaningful, hand-painted art into every home.

I’m committed to painting every single day — not just to practice, but to stay close to the world around me. My muses are everywhere: the curve of a leaf, the elegance of birds, the chaos of a city street, or the calm of the ocean. I never limit myself. Whether it’s nature, wildlife, spiritual themes, or cityscapes, if it moves me, I paint it.

What sets me apart? I love all mediums — and I work across charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, and oil. Each one lets me tell a different kind of story. I believe art should feel alive, which is why every Voodaz piece is painted by hand — with texture, intention, and soul.

Alongside being an artist, I’m also a mom, a gardener, a cook, and a wife — roles that challenge and inspire me to stay open, curious, and creative.

Through Voodaz, I hope to share not just paintings, but pieces of life — made with intention, emotion, and a touch of everyday magic.
